A new company that works alongside world-leading manufacturers of doors, windows and roof systems is forging an enviable reputation for its team of highly experienced fitters and tradesmen

Whalley Home Improvements has a skilled team of builders, craftsmen and professionals that offers the very best in window and door fitting, building construction and a full project management service.

Heading up the team are company founders Graham Fielden, of long-established joiners Frank Fielden and Son, and Emma Hodgkinson, who has more than six years’ experience in the trade, having worked for world-leading manufacturer Ultraframe in Clitheroe.

Whalley Home Improvements is delighted to be a preferred supplier for Ultraframe, which manufactures globally renowned roof systems as well as being a trusted installer for Rockdoor.

Working on projects including orangeries, extensions, replacing conservatory roofs, and fitting windows and doors of all different styles and materials, Whalley Home Improvements are the go-to team for any project no matter how large or small.

From listed buildings, which may require bespoke wooden windows and doors, to modern home extensions, the team will oversee your project from conception to completion.

Fully CORGI Fenestration accredited for window and door installation, Whalley Home Improvements also works alongside Pearl, a respected manufacturer of windows and doors, and their Signature collection which comes with a 10-year warranty with Whalley Home Improvements, that offers full insurance on all the components and parts that often don’t come with a guarantee.

Partnering with respected manufacturers such as Ultraframe, Rockdoor, Pearl Window Systems which features the quality Signature collection and Affordable Window Systems, which manufactures aluminium and flush sash windows, means Whalley Home Improvements can offer doors and windows in UPVC, timber and aluminium in a wide range of beautiful heritage colours and styles which include:

• Casement windows
• Flush sash windows
• Bi-fold windows and doors
• Tilt and turn
• Sliding sash windows
• Rockdoors
• French doors
• Stable doors
• Conservatory roofs using the world renowned Ultraframe system
• Single story extensions
• Full build conservatories and orangeries

“We have a really experienced, skillful team here at Whalley Home Improvements and they are extremely familiar with products manufactured by the likes of Ultraframe and Rockdoor,” explains Emma.

Over the past few months, Whalley Home Improvements have been working on a variety of projects throughout the region including fitting French doors to open up a beautiful kitchen, fitting a new roof and double doors to a conservatory and constructing a single storey extension to create a stunning kitchen and living space.

“We are finding that many people are looking to replace old polycarbonate roofs on their conservatory for a solid roof – the Ultraframe roof system is perfect for this,” adds Emma.

From initial contact to final fitting, the experienced, knowledgeable team makes sure all projects are finished to the highest of standards and that customers are fully satisfied.

Co-ordinating each project is Bev Lea who ensures all the work is carried out to plan. When a project first begins she will commission in-house technical surveyor Brian Clews, who has many years’ experience in the trade. Having worked for Ultraframe, he will measure up the job and Bev will place the order and organise a fit date, selecting individual tradesmen to work on the project.

“It is essential that we meticulously plan every project so that everything runs smoothly,” concludes Emma. “And, because we have such an experienced team and we work with trusted, quality manufacturers we have been inundated with enquiries.”
